Jessica Harris

Jessica Harris

Advance Instructor

Dance has always been a part of Jessica’s life. Her first performances were ballet at the Tucson Convention Center at the age of 3. She has studied musical theater, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, and choreography.

Jessica began teaching and competing professionally in ballroom dance in 2003. Accolades began to come early on, and included 1st place in the professional smooth multi-dance and the 2009 Cactus Classic, 1st place in the professional show-dance category at the 2013 Cactus Classic, and 2nd place in Division II at the Colorado Country Classic in 2013.  She scored a second place in the West Coast Swing Jack and Jill event at the Arizona Dance Classic in 2013, as well as 1st Place in Division II at that event.

Jessica is well-rounded as a professional scoring highly in every aspect of her career. She displayed her skills when she took “top-teacher” in our 2015 festival, and 2nd “top teacher” in the 2016 Cactus Classic.

Jessica’s skills and accomplishments reach far beyond just dance. She has performed as a dancer and singer at several local venues in Tucson, Phoenix, as well as nationally in California and New York. She loves sharing her passion for music and dance with others, and feels blessed to be able to do this as a full-time permanent career as a top instructor at Shall We Dance.
